Welcome to the Department of Chemistry at Curtin University’s Bentley campus. The Department of Chemistry is recognised for its excellence through the delivery of high quality courses in chemistry and through its national and international reputation in basic and applied research and development.
Courses
Curtin offers a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate chemistry courses and related fields such as Nanotechnology. We strive to produce graduates with a sound foundation in theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry.
Research
The research carried out in the Department is biased towards the applied end of the research spectrum. The department strives to act as a source of independent and expert advice to industry, government and society, and to carry out research and development with particular relevance to the regional community. The department also houses a number of research institutes and centres.
